son?
I was browsing the Kravet website when this adorable little redhead caught me eye. Seriously, this kid could be my offspring? Then I noticed he was holding an iphone with this awesome Kravet app. Check it out. It is super handy. oh, technology.

statment
One of these days I am going to live a space big enough to have one of my own sofas. It got me thinking....would I ever purchase a patterned sofa? I am thinking I most definitely could do it. Would you have purchase a patterned sofa? Or do you already own one? spill.

Tablescape
I am in table design dreamworld. I am really into creating lovely tablescapes. I am hoping to create one for my upcoming birthday (Halloween birthday. yippee) and am finding some of the most lovely inspiration. All these beautiful photos are from Yes, Please and their Hitched Photo Roll. Check out all the fun tables below.
I am seriously digging metallics (I spy lots of gold). A golden horse figurine (cute even if horses scare me). Pinks and aquas. And HELLO chevron patterned napkins.
rock candy. enough said.
rustic but not too cutesy. A very inviting table that makes you want to sit around and chat for hours (preferably with lots of wine or delicious cocktails).
painted burlap. genius way to add more color and glamour to hard-working textile.
Simple flowers in low, small vases with black accents and mood lighting galore.
I told you there were lots of beautiful tablescapes! Oh, I want to throw a party now. Do you have a favorite element from the tables?

Polka Dots
Can we just discuss this beautiful table that Cassandra from Coco + Kelley created for her birthday? I am super jealous. It is so sophisticated while still remaining very playful and youthful. The metallics, polka dots, confetti, pink, and flowers! ohh.

listen to the rain
We have been lucky and have had a beautiful fall in Portland. The warm sun didn't last and now it's that time again to pull out the rain boots and umbrellas.

Boo!
It's that time of the year! My boyfriend and I ventured out to Sauvie Island this weekend to partake in the fall festivities. We made the mistake of originally going to the field of pumpkins where EVERYONE else also decided to head to go. We left and found a wonderful, small pumpkin patch that was much more peaceful and enjoyable. We found some glorious pumpkins!
My lovely boyfriend offered to wheel our pumpkins and wash them off too. Such a gentleman.
Mine is the little guy on the right!
Now I need to figure out what I should carve on my pumpkin. Any ideas?!
(I was thinking about painting it too)

Zanzibar
Sunday Fabric Inspiration. I started with the striking Zanzibar fabric. There are so many rich tones in this beautiful fabric. I started by adding a beautiful orange velvet and fun fur to add texture and color. To give more pattern to our palette, I added the fun navy Ziggurat fabric. I am a sucker for geometric prints.
I have to add some glamour to our palette. A wonderful Celerie Kemble Bronze Glimmer fabric would look stunning upholstered on a chair. And maybe a chair or pillows in the "it" color of Chartreuse Ripple to add more color. To finish our fabric inspiration.....a beautiful linen/cotton lace fabric that would be perfect for draperies.
thoughts?
(All fabrics are F. Schumacher besides the fur which is a Kravet fabric.
