Drink of Choice

I've been eying a pair of copper mugs from Butte Copper Company. I'd be able to make perfect Moscow Mules at home! At I won't drink one out of a regular glass. For some reason, ever since moving to Montana, I've really enjoyed Moscow Mules. It's unusual because I typically stray away from vodka. But who can resist a delicious drink in a copper mug? How do you feel about Moscow Mules?

coupe

I like my cocktails. A perfect night is ending up at one of our favorite bars and enjoying a drink. Yes, I enjoy beer and wine but cocktails have a special place in my heart. I'm not really a vodka girl and had too much gin while in college. Now I'm a bourbon or whiskey girl.

One of my favorite classic cocktails: Blood and Sand
3/4 oz Scotch whisky
3/4 oz rosso vermouth
1/4 oz cherry brandy
1 1/2 oz orange juice

What can of drinks do you enjoy?

Cinco de Mayo

Happy Cinco de Mayo! I hope you all have a fabulous day of celebrations. I am ready for my margarita. And some tacos and chips and gauc will work too.

drink up

I look forward to the day when I have a place that is big enough to actually have a bar or bar cart. A studio just isn't suitable for having many people over and drinking. A lack of a sofa or any real place to sit is a bit of a hindrance.

For my future bar cart

A perfect tray to serve alcohol to your guests. With a price tag of $20...what is not to love? Thomas Paul Luddite Tray via.

My place could really use...

a bar cart. obviously. It would really make my place look so much classier. And it would vastly clear up some of my cabinet space.

Clyde Common

I went to happy hour yesterday with my good friend and his dad (they have wonderful taste in food and alcohol). We went to Clyde Common. I highly recommend it! Its vibe is very Portland. The bartender, Jeff, has also been named one of the best bartenders in the US. His drinks were very good indeed!
