Fremont

I am back in Washington now and am loving every minute of it. Don't get me wrong, Corvallis is lovely for school but it is wonderful to have so many options up here. I just adore the Pacific Northwest in general. Now, everyone keeps asking me lately...."what do you plan on doing after you graduate next year?" Honestly, I want to travel the world and to do this I think I am going to work on a cruise ship. Some people give me shit when I tell them this and others are delighted for me. I think it sounds fabulous. Anyways after my lovely excursion abroad I plan on living in Washington and working for a design firm. I see myself in a design job which is rather broad but I think I would love doing event/production planning or something still with interiors. Well, back to my original point to this entry....I want to specifically live in Fremont....my all time favorite Seattle neighborhood. It is quirky city. I went there last weekend with my two really good friends from high school. We went to the Red Door Bar down there. It was wonderful not having to buy any of my own drinks...sometimes it is great to be a girl. This weekend I am going back to go to the Fremont fair. It shall be a lot of fun as long as it doesn't rain. That might be asking a lo considering the crappy weather we have been having lately. In the spirit of my upcoming weekend I found some pictures off of flickr. So enjoy.

Welcome to the Center of the Universe. I just bought a book called "Love and Biology at the Center of the Universe" by Jennie Shortridge....yay. I am excited.

The Fremont Bridge. Oh so lovely.

The famous troll under the bridge. Totally fun and totally Fremont.
