French Bike

I found myself an awesome bike today. I am a true Portlander now (it only took me two years). I now have a vintage Peugeot Mixte bike. His name is Pierre and he is a stunning, vibrant blue! I have a stylish and functional ride now. And my lovely boyfriend is going to make sure he is running perfectly for me. Now I just need another sunny day in Portland.

This isn't my actual bike (looks just like Pierre though). I'll take a real picture of him soon.

The Beaux-Arts Ball

I am giddy with excitement. My cousin has two extra tickets to The Beaux-Arts Ball at the Portland Art Museum and I get to go! Yep, me! A ball inspired by art with performances by Seattle burlesque star Lily Verlaine, Gang of Four’s Dave Allen, and New York rock band Morningwood. Oh, and performers whose bodies are painted to resemble iconic works of art. Doesn't it just sound fantastic?! Now the only problem...what to wear? ahhh. Well, in my dreams I would be waring a stunning vintage dress from Xtabay in Portland. Just check out some of these dresses. Unbelievably beautiful. All amazing dresses from Xtabay.

An Education

My roommate and I saw this movie last night. AMAZING! Seriously, go see it....That is if it is still playing in a theater around you. The clothes, cars, interiors, music, acting, etc etc were all fabulous as well.

Vintage Pinups

I am not sure what it is but I have always thought vintage pinups were sexy in a classy way. I am just drawn to anything vintage but there is something so alluring about them.
