I stopped in awe when I saw these photos over at Sacramento Street! Absolutely perfect. I know I say I love a lot of different designs, interiors, etc but this is truly wonderful. So sophisticated, modern, livable, beautiful textures, spaces, colors and SO DAMN SEXY! Yep, interiors can be sexy. This fantastic home was part of Elle Decor's Modern Life Concept. This particular unit is designed by Beth Martin, Sara Story, Grant K. Gibson and Aurelien Gallet. Job well done!

I currently have been loving the look of banquette seating. I love seeing the look in very traditional spaces along side modern spaces. It is definitely an awesome seating option that can be translated into many designs. Enjoy some of the looks.

This Manhattan loft makes me giddy with excitement. This is my type of modern. Colorful, inviting, fun patterns yet clean-lined and updated. I am really trying to adopt a more modern aesthetic. I first need to get rid of some stuff (umm...shoes) and declutter my life. My boyfriend and my current boss tend to go down the modern route. I am trying to embrace it while still keeping it me. Wish me luck is this life adventure.

Eclectic

I am a lover of eclectic styles when it comes to home decor. This is a great example of how well all sorts of different elements can be combined to make a beautiful room. My goal is to incorporate more contemporary and streamlined pieces into my design. I am really excited because I started working for a very well established designer in Portland and her taste is much more modern than my own....yay, for design growth and learning new things.

why, yes.

I normally don't tend to LOVE modern design. However, this kitchen has just enough glamor and sophistication that I do really adore it. I could even imagine me attempting to cook in this kitchen (luckily, my boyfriend is a good cook). What do you think of this kitchen? Love the rich, warm wood? How about the fantastic range? Or the back splash? Or frosted glass cabinet doors? Do tell.

Wegner Wishbone

I just LOVE Wegner Wishbone chairs. Gorgeous. And I actually don't mind the light wood color of them. They are paired so nicely with the table.
