  1. hey, I'm from boston, you should definately go to Dick's Last Resort in Fanueil Hall. Well idk if you'd like it actually...the waitresses treat you horribly, make fun of you and make you wear a balloon hat with an insult on it, but its hilarious, whether or not you like it really depends on your sense of humor. But even if you don't go to that restaurant/bar, Fanueil hall has a million other food places and shops, so you should check it out.

  2. I am in Boston too- I would recommend walking along Newbury St. and Charles St. for boutiquey shops that you semi cannot afford and some good shops you can (Anthro, Zara, etc). Eating anywhere in the South End (Stella is one of my personal faves) or the North End (all restaurants are good and ITALIAN!). I would also suggest heading to Faneuil too- it's a big tourist spot and you can walk down to the harbor/aquarium. Enjoy your trip!

  4. Well, Megan, I have to join all the Bostonians and welcome you to our town! It's fantastic really. Where you stay largely depends on your budget. I definitely recommend eating in the North End (my fav is Dolce Vita), along with the Upper Crust in Brookline's Coolidge Corner for awesome pizza and Fugaku also in Brookline if you like sushi. I think you'd love shopping in Downtown Crossing, and of course Newbury St. and Boylston St., but also checkout Coolidge Corner in Brookline. Very cute. Boston is best seen on foot, and the weather should be nice enough. I love walking through the Boston Common and Public Garden and taking a ride on the swan boats.

  8. You NEED to check out the flea market in NYC in a parking garage at 6th ave and 25th between 26th street. It's two levels of amazing antique jewelry, art, and clothes. Very Carrie Bradshaw, very New York.

  9. Hi there! I'm in NYC and for the best cupcake (sorry magnolia) go to Sweet Revenge in the west village (on carmine at bedford st).

I mean, if only for the fact that the owner quit her corporate job so she can open a cupcake shop - you should go! the woman who owns it is wonderful and always there and you really feel that neighborhood-y vibe here.

she was on martha stewart a few months ago too, so she had her seal of approval! also you can pair your cupcake with wine and beer. and you must try the red velvet - it is WILDLY delicious!
    have fun!

  10. Hi Megan, I'm from London but I love New York and Philly!

Favorite things to do in NYC:
    Magnolia Cupcakes
Wander round Greenwhich village and pic out my dream brownstone house.
Cocktails and dancing at the fat black pussycat or Cafe wha?

...oh I wish I was there right now!

Only spent one day in philly but my favourite part was the Amish market (amazing foods!)

    Have fun!
