Hi everyone, I'm Kelley from Kelley Maria! Megan asked me to design an inspiring board around the Clarke Sofa from Room and Board. I came up with a sophisticated and comfortable living room with accents like the colorful chevron pillow, which looks great against the solid blue sofa. This metallic table lamp pulls nicely from the pillow and adds a fun pop. The coffee and end tables add a natural element to the room, which warms it up. The wall mirror would look great mounted above the sofa and the charcoal hue compliments the other accessories in the room. I can imagine lounging in this comfortable chair reading books all day long!

Inspiration Board from Colleen at Dashing Pearl
Hey Lovely Happening Readers! Happy to be back doing another guest post design for the lovely Megan. Here is the design I came up with around the navy sofa she sent over.
I decided to go with a coral, navy and grey theme on this one and include white furniture. To add a bit of pattern into the room, I incorporated both the coral Ikat pillow and the grey greek key pillow. Because I am a huge fan of texture, I threw in the white shag rug for extra comfort. I like the idea of the white marble coffee table to decorate with some stacked books to intrigue guests. To keep the grey theme, I added the grey lamp shade with a white base onto a white distressed side table, which adds extra space to decorate with. And as always, why not have some delicious smelling coral peonies to brighten the room?

It reminds me of something my grandparents would first have in their home and then ship off to the beach house once they got new furniture. It's good bones would make it a keep vs. sell, plus it looks like it could seat a few while remaining compact for the tight space that is available in a smaller vacation home.

Obviously, I really dig this sofa! I mean, I am the one who selected it to be used in our inspiration boards. I also had too many ideas of how to use this blue sofa in one's home. So I made two inspiration boards. It's my blog and I'll do what I want.
My first board is a modern Asian influenced dining room. The Clarke Sofa is used as seating for one side of the table while green Bortoia chairs and a bench flank the other sides. Colorful accents of dragons and bamboo finish off this dining room. I'd gladly eat in there!
