Brick

I came across this kitchen a few days ago on Pinterest. Naturally, I pinned it but I love it so much that I wanted to share it with you all. I am a huge sucker for exposed brick walls. And hello, these walls also have amazing wine storage. In love. Now how does one get the wine down? The real question that I have for you, do you prefer natural or painted brick?

wood or upholster

I've got headboards on my mind. My bedroom feels incomplete right now. I need a headboard for the space. Right now our bed is under the window with unfortunate looking drapery. Such a sad sight. I either need to a) get new drapery or b) invest in a headboard. Here are some that I'm currently enjoying. What's your bed situation? Headboard? wood, upholstered......do tell.

I also like to note that I love Pinterest but it is the most aggravating thing when the image you pinned from someone else doesn't lead to the correct or original source. ugh.

Obsessing

This girl wants an upholstered headboard...I mean I really really want. I just love the extra layer they add in the bedroom. I also love any opportunity to use fabulous fabric. I am currently digging the shape of Michelle Adam's yellow floral headboard. I would love to upholster my future headboard in a masculine, graphic pattern cut in an intricate, feminine shape. Thoughts? Do you love upholstered headboards? Is it worth a DIY or should I invest in a well made one?

I have fallen in love

oh, that rug

An inspiration board that is perfect for a modern teen girl. The room all started from that fabulous rug (yep, from overstock). The room strikes a nice balance between modern, clean lines pieces and more traditional pieces. Throw in some fun, young colors and this room is good to go! Hope you enjoy.

testosterone

At my next home (yes, I did just move into my current one. forward thinking) I want to make it more masculine and not all girly. It will still be very glamourous and stylish but with a dose of stronger lines, deeper tones, richer textures, and less pink.

I love this room. See that romantic mirror, beautiful orange bedding and oh so much fun fur pillows.

clean and simple. Lovely headboard. Maybe a little too simple for my tastes though.

Love the wallpaper and gallery wall above the bed.

Exposed brick walls, wonderful ethnic rug, and wood.

So many fun colors! This might be border line girly but so much fun.

Again fur throw and deep walls and textured pillows. I also have a very similar lamp.
