French Press Cafe

I was exploring The Noun Project and feel in love with this french press icon. It was a perfect starting point to design a coffee shop. So inspired by the simplistic design, I created this cafe design. The metal furniture pieces stick with the sleek, industrial look but the inviting shapes and hint of orange/red make this coffee shop inviting. I imagine a reclaimed wood cash wrap and a whole wall of windows. Yep, this little coffee shop is the perfect place to grab that quick caffeine fix. What are your thoughts? Would you grab some coffee at this French Press Cafe?

I like how this floor plan allows for the same metal furniture to be used outside and inside and have the two spaces appear seamless with the whole window wall. The varied seating heights adds interests to the space as well.

It is rather windy in Portland today. The idea of walking to work isn't the most appealing right now. I would rather curl up in this lovely bed and spend hours catching up on blogs.

Beautiful (and fairly large upholstered) headboard. Faux fur throw. Chair as a nightstand. Yes, please.
