Fix it Up

The idea of buying an old home and fixing it up to my exact likings is something that is incredibility intriguing to me. I'll pass on that brand new house. I want charm and the ability to create. I fell in love with these after photos of this bathroom. And the transformation makes the after that much better. So dark and dated to modern and airy. I'm totally digging it. I'd changed a few thing personally...I'd have to add a handheld to the shower and I'd use the Toto Aquia toilet instead. But overall, I'll take it.

I love this city

I have been back in Washington for a little under a month. I am in love with Washington all over again. It is the most captivating and lovely city. I have been trying to explore more of Seattle and all of its quirky little neighborhoods. I was on Capital Hill last night and yet again...LOVE. I was soooo very happy this morning when I discovered on Design Sponge (http://www.designspongeonline.com/) that the amazing blog coco+kelley (http://cocokelley.blogspot.com/) did a Seattle Design Guide list (http://www.designspongeonline.com/2008/07/seattle-design-guide.html). It is one heck of a list. I am excited to start checking all these places out. I can't wait!
