Graduate

My little sister is graduating from Washington State University in May. It's crazy that she's old enough to be a college graduate. But when she asked me to create her graduation announcements, I pounced on the opportunity. I took inspiration from this design and added a little cougar fun. I'm pretty proud of how they turned out. What do you think?
Congratulations baby sister on your graduation. I love you.

No longer a teen.

It is my lovely younger sister's birthday today. She turns a big 2-0! And on her birthday she had the pleasure of being stuck in the car for five hours as she drove across Washington back to Pullman. Have fun this year at Wazzu! Miss you and Happy Birthday Erin!

Dale Chihuly

I have always been a huge fan of Dale Chihuly....both of us are Washingtonians. I finally just made it to the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington this past weekend. Blown glass is just stunning. I got in free which made the whole experience even better (something about being a college student).  My favorite part was the Hot Shop. You get to watch the artists actually make the glass artwork. You can watch a virtual streaming of the Hot Shop right here. It was really a fun experience. Now, here are some fantastic pictures of some of my favorite Chihuly installations that I have had the pleasure of actually seeing.

The Pacific Northwest is the greatest!

I loved growing up in Washington. I love living in Oregon currently. It is going to be hard to leave here someday.
