Child's Play

I just adore this F. Schumacher Mariner's Map fabric. It is just adorable. Perfect for a child's room with some serious style. I love maps, animals, and fabric. Throw them all together and genius is born. I brought along some other wonderful fabrics that would go with the Mariner's Map. Then add some yellow paint, blue velvet fabric and lots of toys and you have a wonderful, cheerful, children's room. Enjoy.

(I LOVE small geometric repeats. Especially Greek key prints)

(this is a serious close up of the fabric but the fuzzy texture is so much fun!)

What do you think? Could you envision this in a child's room?

  2. Yes, yes, yes! I think the color scheme is fantastic. You have a great sense with color and I may copy you with my littlest guy's room. This seems like the perfect combination of whimsy, sophistication and color.
