I spent this past extended weekend in New York City. Yep, we disappeared from the gross Portland rain and enjoy the amazing weather in NYC! We jetted across county to surprise Joel's Dad for his birthday (
Happy Birthday, Michael)! The surprise was a smashing success. We had a such a fantastic weekend! We saw three shows
(Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Mamma Mia, and Memphis), ate lots of tasty food, walked around the city, took in a
museum and had an all around good time. I'm so happy I had the pleasure of joining in on the birthday festivities in NYC. It was a perfect getaway.
We manged to fly into Philadelphia and see one of dearest friends too before heading to NYC!
We stayed at the very swanky,
Royalton Hotel. It was serious beautiful and I highly recommend staying there! We even scored a balcony with a view of the Chrysler Building. Also, take a minute to enjoy a drink at the bar,
Forty Four, and order the Ginger Julep. Delicious.
I'm ready to head back again.
FUN!! I want to visit NYC sooo badly!
