Sunday Night

Joel had to head out of town on Sunday this week for work. So it left me and Luna alone to relax. And that we did just that (yes, Luna is my cat. don't judge). We watched the season finales of True Blood and The Newsroom (did you guys see them, thoughts!). We also managed to browse some online shopping. No purchases have been made yet. But I'm a pro at creating a million wishlists so we'll see if I get around to buying any of the items. Here are just a few things that I want to arrive on my doorstep. Yes, there are some fabulous designer knock-offs here (hey, I'm a girl on a budget). Oh, and there is a photo of cookies....they looked tasty and one sounds pretty good right now.

The Newsroom

I'm back with another tv show recommendation. Basically, anything on HBO tends to be phenomenal and The Newsroom is no exception. My friend told me I had to watch it and I'm sure glad she did. Seriously, there's only been about 5 episodes so you're not too far behind. Start watching The Newsroom. It's fantastic.

Game of Thrones

Why are all HBO shows soooo amazing? It's a (good) problem. I gave in and got HBO and cable for my place. Now I've started the series Girls and Game of Thrones. They are very different but both so great. I almost relate too much to Girls it's scary and Game of Thrones is very far from my life (phew) but it's so fascinating. At first, the killing was a little much but now I've succumb to the show and can't get enough. And True Blood starts next week. Goodness, too many. Do you watch any HBO shows? Have a favorite?
