I love fluffy cats and dogs. They put a smile on my face. Desire to Inspire has their Pets on Furniture posts that I just adore. How cute are some of these guys?! Which pet is your favorite?

decisions

I have such a difficult decision. Luckily, the outcome will be fantastic no matter what I decide. Dave Matthews Band just officially announced they will be back again at the amazing Gorge this summer. But this year it is a caravan. This means Dispatch, John Butler Trio and many other great bands will be there this year for three days. I told myself last year that wasn't going to go to Dave again this summer. But now with this festival style concert I am not sure if I can resist. Yes, I already have already seen DMB 6 times (always wonderful). Or I could opt out of DMB this year and go for option two which are a set of 6 fabulous vintage chairs! They look like the Cesca Cane chair. I could spend my money on this great set of chairs that I have been dreaming about since I saw them in the consignment store. Now the dilemma....Dave Matthews Band Caravan concert tickets or Set of Vintage Cane Chairs. HELP!

DMB Caravan.....
Or six of these chairs...

Which one would you pick?!

Bid away

Okay, so I am a sucker for faux bamboo. It is such a classic and glamorous style that I just can't get enough of. So I rounded up some of my favorite pieces over at ebay. Enjoy. How do you feel about faux bamboo furniture? overdone, still love, think it's ugly? spill.

campaign dilemma

Lovelies, I need your help! I bought this FABULOUS campaign dress on a whim a while back for $40 on craigslist. I know, awesome. But now, I can't decide if I want to give it a new fresh coat of white paint or paint it black. Decisions. ahhhh. (I still need to polish the knobs. it took me thirty minutes to do just one knob. I lack patience for that. Once I get around to getting them polished it will look better too).
This is my cutie. It looks like he is floaty in my room but he is indeed against a small wall in my tiny apartment. Back to the left are the built in shelves in my closet area. To the right is my old dresser that has been placed in the hallway until I give it to a loving home (humm goodwill). Yeah, I swear my apartment isn't a sea of white like this picture makes it appear.

I just came across this lovely black campaign dresser from Jordan Ferney of Oh Happy Day! I am kind of digging this look. It is more snazzy and gentleman appropriate.

So keep it white or paint it black?!
(or a color...red, emerald green. thoughts.)

Bring me the moving truck.

I have fallen in love with this home and blogger. Bijou and Boheme is now one of my favorite blogs. But let's take a moment to discuss her beautiful stylish and kid friendly home. I want that mirror, rosewood console, tufted ottoman, Divid Hicks and Schumacher pillows, black and white rug, red armchair, antique settee, and about every other little item from her home. Love! How do you feel about this home? Could you live here? I sure could.

oh, West Elm

Are you all lucky enough to have a West Elm near you? Oh, I really hope so. I went in there today after work. I couldn't help myself but I wanted to buy almost everything in there. Nothing is too modern or too tradtional...the right balance. Great use of texture and color. Oh, one day I will fill my home with beautiful items from West Elm. Parsons Desk with Drawers.

Holy S***

I am giddy currently!!!! I just scored the most amazing campaign dresser ever. I was searching craigslist for a dresser for my boyfriend's new place and came across this gem. I had to have it (would have kicked myself if I didn't get it)! And guess how much I got it for?! Drumroll please.....$40! Yep, you read that right. Amazing. Tell me about it. This piece is coming home with me on Saturday! Yippee.

take a seat.

My studio is slowly coming together! I am still in search of a dining table, a rug and seating for in front of my bed. So these little gems would all look perfect at the foot of my bed. If only they were in my budget. darn. And patience children....I will post pictures soon. I have to hang all my pictures before I let anyone see my lovely little place.

I Want You

There is something about x-stools that I absolutely lust over. They are so practical and look fabulous in front of a bed, under a console, or as sitting in the living room. You can play up the drama with the fabric due to the small scale of the piece. Oh, how wonderful.

(I don't remember where it is from. anyone know?)
