Holiday Party

I already have one holiday cocktail party on my books. I guess it's time to start thinking of what to wear to our little holiday get together. I've pulled together four different looks. Which look are you loving? I seriously can't decide. I'd like to have four parties to go to so I could wear all the looks. Hey, a girl can dream.
Holiday Party

LBD: dress/shoes/ring/earrings; Shine: dress/shoes/rings/necklace
The Little Black Dress is a never fail look. Spice it up with some serious bling. All jewelry styled is Stella & Dot. The Shine look is for some serious attention. You can't be afraid of the spotlight in this dress. Warm jewelry to compliment the dress (surprisingly, this was my boyfriend's favorite look).
Holiday Party

Modern: dress/shoes/necklace/earrings; Classic: dress/shoes/bracelet/necklace
An interesting clock blocking Modern dress is a sheer hit at any holiday party. A keyhole neckline and orange pumps. Awesome. Of course, a Classic red dress and pearls are the perfect holiday combo. Very Parisian chic.

Please grab a real coat when heading out the door for your holiday party. I don't want to see a rain jacket or a sweatshirt! You're grown up so dress like it.

Mine

I gasped when I came across this jacket. It just may be the most perfect jacket I've ever set my blue eyes upon. No, I am not being dramatic. This jacket is fantastic. I come across lots of things that I love and that make me smile but this jacket brings it to a whole new level. You may be asking yourself, what is so special about this jacket. Okay, let me explain...

First, the color. It isn't another black jacket. It is a rich, neutral color that sits nicely against my pale skin. Second, it has a hood. Try and find CUTE jackets with hoods (it's harder than it seems). It rains lots in Oregon (not a rumor). Hoods are important. Third, it cinches at the waist. Hallelujah for some shape. Lastly, it has awesome packets and sleeve tab details. So basically it's amazing and I'd love to have it in my closet. Oh, the other awesome part. It only cost $57.99. Yep, you read that right. Medium, please.

Buy it here.
Here are two outfits to wear with this FANTASTIC jacket. I couldn't help myself. Addicted to Polyvore.

time to shop?

I love shopping. And I really love dresses. These ones from Mod Cloth are so pretty. I just want to wear them all! Apparently I am liking cream, blush and black at the moment. Add some cognac pieces with them to add much needed warmth and deliciousness.

I have created a little how to guide below. Yep, this is my lazy Sunday attire lately. (well, more than just Sunday. shh). I would like to think that it is still chic while being oh-so-very comfortable. You can add a lovely belt or hat and be out the door. Oh, and don't forget the jacket...it's cold.
