Quizzes are fun
I took this quiz and I am:
Modern Elegance
Variety is the spice of life! And nowhere is this truer than in the design of your home... You either love contemporary but wish it wasn't quite so cold and austere; or perhaps you've always been drawn to more traditional rooms but are now at a point in your life where you'd like to pair down a bit or want to create a less cluttered and busy space. Transitional Style is here to marry those apparent contradicting designs. And guess what — it's the contradictions that make the mix of contemporary and traditional so successful. The result is an elegant room that appeals to young and old alike. A sofa with modern lines blends seamlessly with a pair of traditional chairs. New fabrics work so well on antique pieces. It turns out that modern art looks even more exciting above a collection of traditional pieces. The room feels simple and sophisticated, elegant and hip. I would have to agree with this assessment. Take the quiz here.Slow Dancing in a Burning Room Cover

Hand me the scissors
I love Justin Nozuka's music. And I was very pleasantly surprised this morning when I found out he is coming to Portland in December. Now, here is what upset my this morning.....his hair! He is a very attractive guy but now I see pictures with his hair grown out! Boy, cut your hair! The proof is in the pictures! Shaggy isn't a good look for you! So what do you think....
Short (Yes, very attractive with nice short hair):
Long: (don't get me wrong, he is still good looking but not nearly as hot with this shaggy, un-groomed hair; ugh)
Come December, you better have short hair when you arrive in Portland.

People Tree
Emma Watson is fabulous.
"I wanted to help People Tree produce a younger range because I was excited by the idea of using fashion as a tool to alleviate poverty and knew it was something I could help make a difference with. It has been the most incredible gap year project." Emma Watson

JACK KNOWS BEST
I love a well dressed male.
To the Nines
I didn't actually watch the Emmys but I still have an opinion on everyone's style! I felt overall there weren't too many amazing dresses. Here are a few of my favorite ladies and I threw in John Krasinski because he is just too adorable! Overall, I think it is a tie between January Jones and Oliva Wilde. What do you think?

Waiting for Fall
I can't wait for the fall in Portland! It is my favorite season and it's right around the corner. I can't wait for rainy days with umbrellas, pretty fallen leaves, wearing layers and nylons, drinking hot chocolate by the fire, cuddling, new tv shows, Halloween (my birthday!), fresh apple cider, boots, scarves, college football games, and so much more! oh, I am getting excited just thinking about it!
Admit it: You're going to see it
I will be seeing it! Are you ready? A lot of shirtless scenes....I can sure handle that.
Ponder
I am feeling very uninspired lately. Boo. John Mayer's Somethings Missing lyrics keep rolling through my mind..."Something's missing, And I don't know how to fix it, Something's missing, And I don't know what it is, At all"
