Color Block - Friday's Fancies

Hooray for Friday. I'm especially excited for the weekend since we're headed back to Portland. So goodbye, mountains and sun and hello, rain. To kick off the weekend, I've got a colorful Friday's Fancies. Color Block is what's going on this week over on Long Distance Loving. I actually enjoy this trend. It's not ridiculous or over the top and is rather easy to pull off with what you already have in your closet. So here's to summer and the weekend. Hope yours is fabulous.

Color Crush - Friday's Fancies

I couldn't miss participating in Friday's Fancies this week so I'm at a coffee shop using their internet right before they close. Must type quickly. I need to get internet at our new place. Tangerine Tango - Friday's Fancies

Thank goodness it's Friday. I'm pretty sure I say that every week but it's so true. That also means that it's time for Friday's Fancies over at Long Distance Loving. Hip Hip Hooray. This week we're celebrating Pantone's Color of the Year: Tangerine Tango. I'm kind of loving the orange-red color. Although now looking at my sweater it is looking a little more orange to me. Whatever, it's still a fun outfit. I love these jeans for Target. I tried them on and really liked them but wish they would have sat a little higher on my hips (well, that makes me sound like an old lady). Well kiddos, have a fabulous Friday and a lovely weekend.

Spring Colors

I came across this Vogue China cover today and it made me really excited for spring. I can't help but smile when I see the mint/teal and pastel pink color combo. I think I'd be adorable for my wardrobe or for a little baby girl's room (wink.wink Cristina). I decided to continue with my color love and bring you lots of spring goodies. Color Crush - Friday's Fancies

Ladies and gentlemen, it was sunning in Portland today! The weather has been very good to us lately (I fear this is changing though). It was chilly but with bright, sunny skies. For those not familiar with the Pacific Northwest, it is grey and raining most of winter. Yes, that stereotype in true. Today's sunny weather has me dreaming of a little vacay somewhere warmer. Somewhere where I can wear bright orange and stick my toes in the sand. I imagine this little ensemble for my date night on my fabulous dream vacation. So who else wants to wear a bright and bold outfit with me and take an imaginary vacation down south with me? I'll see you there.

 I adore gold. It might just be up there in my favorite color category. I love it even more during this time of the year. I can't wait for warm, rich fall fall colors. I will be wearing lots of caramel, chocolate and cognac. Those sound very delicious as well. The long weekend is almost behind us and it seems to be the unofficial last weekend of summer. Portland will be 90 degrees this week so I think summer will be hanging around for a bit longer.

Less than a month

I can't believe it but in less than a month I will be sunning (hiding under my sun hat) myself in Aruba! I am so ready for warm weather, sandy beaches, and a getaway from Portland.
