One of the Prettiest

I came across this photo shoot on Jose Villa's blog and it is just breathtaking. It's charming, classic and all sorts of beautiful.  I highly advise jumping over and looking at all the rest of the photos. Every single vendor involved nailed it.

Subtle

I love color but every once in a while it's lovely to see a more subtle and muted look. It's so sweet and feminine. It's feels perfect for this Sunday. Enjoy.

Trunk Show

I love being an independent stylist for Stella & Dot. Gorgeous jewelry and handbags and I get to meet and have a girl's night with some fabulous women while making money. Colleen hosted a trunk show last night! It was so much fun. I finally was able to officially meet her and not just communicate through our blogs. She is fantastic, adorable, crafty, has beautiful handwriting and is an incredibly gifted photographer. Look at all these stunning photos she took from last night.....

Taylor Lake

This past long weekend, we spent one night in Sunriver, Oregon. It was a fabulous time spent with friends, riding bikes, drinking, and enjoying Central Oregon.

We then ventured off into the woods to go camping one night. I took the following pictures of our camping adventure to prove that I can indeed camp. I'm outdoorsy.
Part of our drive in. This is a typical drive in for Joel during his work week. Glad we took his truck.
After a bit of a drive, we found a sweet little spot next to Taylor Lake. We cut back some bushes, made the ground even and set up our tent.
It's us.
Joel making delicious food.
We had bacon, blue-cheese burgers, potatoes and baked beans.
Enjoyed some Sessions beer on the lake.
Of course, we had to drink some whiskey and coke too.
A fire to keep us warm. And to make s'mores too!
Pretty sunsets.
This is right outside our tent. This is the log I fell off in the morning while cleaning the dishes. I might not be the must graceful person.
Our final goodbye before we packed up and heading back out.

I made it out alive with only a few scratches and lots of bug bites. One mosquito bit my eyelid which decided to swell up. Not cool but beside that we had a blast camping.

Coral

I've looked at my fair share of wedding photography (blog addiction to anything pretty) but this wedding takes the cake. Okay, that was a terrible joke. Cross that out. Seriously though, this just may be the most beautiful wedding I've spotted. I'm proud to say that it took place in Oregon too. We do have style here...see! What do you think? One of you favorites as well? Link me to your favorite wedding photos so I can see what you love.
colorful, sophisticated, open fields, casual chic, hint of rustic, simple, understated but beautiful. These are the lovely things I think of when I see this wedding.

This places look like a camping dream.

I'll settle for this which is just as magical.

My Summer Must Have

It's official....one must own a bike. I once was the girl who said it wasn't an essential and I wouldn't use it that much. I have since changed my mind. My bike is fabulous. I can take leisurely rides through the house-lined streets of Portland with my boyfriend, I can ride to the too far to walk but too close to drive grocery store, or I can quickly ride a few blocks to get the latest DVD from a Redbox (shhh. my rental tonight is terrible but wonderful. red hood and a wolf...this is what happens when the boy is gone).

I need your help. Hopefully, you are a lovely reader that also owns a bike and picks up shameful DVD's at Redbox. I need a basket for my bike and need your opinions! Wicker basket, metal basket? On the front, on the back? What looks best versus what is the most practical? Ahh.
Isn't my little Peugeot Mixte the cutest?
yeah, it has both form and function. You can have it all.

(you should get Instragram for your iphone or Instaphoto for your BB)

In the details

I am not a photographer. I wish. I take pictures on my phone. Yeah, it's bad. My crappy real camera doesn't take pictures much better anyways. It is also really hard to photograph interiors. Or maybe it's just me. Probably just me. I decided to snap a few detail photos from my phone of our new place. Enjoy.

Maybe someone with photography skills will come to my house one day so you can fully enjoy its greatness. Or we can be friends and you can visit me.
A classy bar. But we normally go to the refrigerator and grab a beer.
