half past eleven

If I didn't already own this fabulous watch (one of the greatest ever)....
then I would be purchasing this lovely little time keeper....

1. Movado watch. 2. Marc by Marc Jacobs watch

Bring me the moving truck.

I have fallen in love with this home and blogger. Bijou and Boheme is now one of my favorite blogs. But let's take a moment to discuss her beautiful stylish and kid friendly home. I want that mirror, rosewood console, tufted ottoman, Divid Hicks and Schumacher pillows, black and white rug, red armchair, antique settee, and about every other little item from her home. Love! How do you feel about this home? Could you live here? I sure could.

Red

Designer Peter Dunham keeps this kitchen classic and traditional but adds just the right amount of fresh looks. Love the reds chairs, bold lighting and beautiful rug.

one lucky girl

I received the most wonderful, gold heart necklace this Christmas from my favorite boy. It really is perfect. I snagged myself a catch.

golden love

I received this gem from my lovely family for Christmas this year. It is definitely glamorous. The black shade dials down and grounds the femininity of the lamp though. I can't wait to put it on a bed side table, a desk or an entry table. Oh, the possibilities.

Buy yourself one too. Right here.

on to the next

Now it is time to start thinking about New Year's Eve. Say so long to Christmas and hello to sequins, dancing, champagne and midnight kisses. Do you have any fun plans to ring in 2011?

For your memory. Here is the old one...

All I Want For Christmas Is Us

I LOVE these two and their voices. Here is a cute Christmas song for you all.
(yippee for them just getting engaged too)

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

My sisters and I visited Santa this morning. I asked for world peace and the rights for gays to marry. My youngest sister just asked for clothes (boring) and my middle sister asked for an Italian lover while she studies abroad in Italy next semester. Santa said he would try and see what he could do. Excellent. Can't wait for Christmas and the new year. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
thank goodness for a non awkward Christmas photo. I have 24 years of Santa photos and I am glad there are a few that are actually decent.

Christmas Eve Invite

This is the fun invitation that I made for our family's dinner. I like the simplicity of all black and awesome font.

Portlandia

This video is hilarious and is very true. Hopefully you have had the pleasure of living or visiting Portland to experience the "Dream of the 90's"
"You can put a bird on something and call it art"

Also check out this video too of Portlandia.
"I have a question about the chicken....
Absolutely. His name was Collin."

the key to my heart

It is no secret that I love geometric patterns. The greek key always seems to make my heart beat a little faster. After my last post with Greek key trim on the draperies I decided to dedicate an entire post to Greek Keys. Enjoy.
How do you feel about Greek Keys? Overdone? Never grow tired of them? Dish.

daily inspiration

This is such a wonderful inspiration photo of a real and livable living room. I might switch out the pink lamps for orange ones. Love the greek key trim on the draperies. The photos tells the story of how this room came about. Here you go..."The living room of blogger Nicole Gibbons. She found the Robert Abbey genie gourd lamps at Lamps Plus, the end tables on craigslist, and the vintage brass and beveled glass coffee table on eBay. To soften the space, she added draperies, which she customized with Greek key trim from Calico Corners. Above the sofa is a Jenny Gage and Tom Betterton photo which she bought at Design on a Dime."

sunday is soon.

I hate going to the airport to drop people off and having to say goodbye.

just around the corner

I am not ready for the holidays to arrive yet. I still hasn't hit me that Christmas is at the end of this week! Crazy. I am looking forward to spending time with my family, eating delicious food, taking time of work, and being around people that I love. I hope you all are preparing for a lovely Christmas. Here are some pretty photos to put you in the Christmas spirit.

Always Impressed

The girls at Maison Inc. in Portland, Oregon are some of the most talented designers in this city. Seriously...these photos of their latest home interior speak for themselves. It is just stunning. Enjoy.
I would even consider living in Spokane, Washington just so I could live in this home.

no pants needed

If you actually know me then you know that I wear a lot of dresses. They are stylish, comfortable, and sophisticated. So I decided to do some online browsing at Modcloth for fun. Here are some dresses that caught me eye. I am thinking I need to find a lovely Christmas dress or NYE dress.
