East Coast Dreaming

We arrived back to Montana yesterday after a long day traveling back from Maine. I can't believe how fast our vacation went by. I wish we could have stayed a little longer but it was still a fabulous trip. Maine is such a fantastic place and staying with joel's family is always enjoyable. I can't wait for our net trip back there! Here a few pictures that I captured while on the east coast. Enjoy!
We went sailing for the 4th of July. The weather was pleasant right up until we docked the boat to get find some dinner.

Joel & I out on the water. Yep, my shirt has sail boats on it.
Right outside the back door was the lake.
 Two good looking boys.
 Lots of cute puppies.
Matching yellow rain jackets. It started to down pour so it was lucky these were on the boat. I broke my sandals while running in the rain...I still got soaked. But the lightening was beautiful.

The lovely sailboat, Maia Majesta.

Timbers

I like soccer. I grew up playing and I enjoy watching it now (need to get on an indoor team again asap). I am lucky enough to have season tickets to the Portland Timbers' inaugural MLS season. Conveniently, my lovely boyfriend now appreciates soccer too! This weekend our beloved Timbers played their rivals, the Seattle Sounders, up in enemy territory. Joel and I ventured up north this weekend to attend the game. We snagged (my parents gave us) tickets to join them at the game. Luckily, they are family and don't care that we root for different teams. Timbers rocked their awesome secondary red jerseys too. We made it out of the stadium unharmed. Game was a tie at 1-1. And to end the night, my middle sister finally arrived home from a semester in Italy! yippee. What an excellent weekend! And Luna even came on our road trip too. She likes car rides. Hope you all had a fantastic weekend as well. What did you all do?
I tell me boyfriend he looks good in red. One day he will believe me.
Yeah, suite view. Literally, suite. I really am not funny....
My youngest sister is a clearly cheering for the wrong team.

Have fun!

My darling (and sassy) younger sister is headed to Florence, Italy to study abroad for a semester. She gets to study the culture and wine and she will probably learn a few things about Italian men. I love you sister! Have an amazing time. I will miss you and can't wait to hear all about it when you come back in May. Ciao.

Merry Christmas

My sisters and I visited Santa this morning. I asked for world peace and the rights for gays to marry. My youngest sister just asked for clothes (boring) and my middle sister asked for an Italian lover while she studies abroad in Italy next semester. Santa said he would try and see what he could do. Excellent. Can't wait for Christmas and the new year. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
thank goodness for a non awkward Christmas photo. I have 24 years of Santa photos and I am glad there are a few that are actually decent.

I am still around

I have running around the Pacific Northwest lately. My adorable grandma turned 85 this past week and my entire family flew in, drove up, or took the train into town. We had a weekend of celebration. A wonderful pre-thanksgiving get together.

This is the women we spent celebrating. Isn't she the cutest? And not to mention she has the greatest collection of vintage framed cross stitched pieces and cottage ware.
There were lots of camera's snapping pictures all weekend. Many that we were unaware of. My lovely boyfriend made the journey home with me and experience our loud family gatherings.
Some of the cousin's (and an aunt) at the a birthday dinner.
We are a rather silly bunch of people.

I spent this past weekend visiting my sister in the lovely town of Pullman, Washington. It was a fun weekend with her. I even wore cougar gear to the football game (it wasn't like I was going to wear U of O duck gear. sick). And I am already thinking about this upcoming weekend. almost there...
