Brick

I came across this kitchen a few days ago on Pinterest. Naturally, I pinned it but I love it so much that I wanted to share it with you all. I am a huge sucker for exposed brick walls. And hello, these walls also have amazing wine storage. In love. Now how does one get the wine down? The real question that I have for you, do you prefer natural or painted brick?

Or a painted white brick wall....

Natural or Painted?

Relax

We're hanging out with our good friends, making homemade pizza, drinking wine, watching football, and my sister is stopping by tomorrow. A great weekend if you ask me. Just an important tidbit: you should listen to the Mayer Hawthorne station on Pandora. Totally awesome!

I'm also on the hunt for faux leather leggings/pants. I NEED some.

back at the coast

We headed to the coast a few weekends ago for the annual Seafood and Wine festival. Awesome, right? Yeah, it was pretty fun. Here are a few pictures to recap our lovely time on the coast. I am always up for seafood, wine, board games, pancakes in the morning, walks on the beach and good friends!
The girls.
(I had to drive home early the second day. no wine that day. boo)
The boys.
Joel decided to walk out on the ledge. Makes a sweet picture.
I was excited to climb the rock.
a cheesy band picture?

Thanks to Andrew for providing the pictures!

I am still here!

Yes, I did make it make from my amazing Labor Day weekend. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend as well.
I spent three nights watching slash listening slash dancing to this...
and enjoying three days of this...
at late hours of the night...
My view across the table all weekend....Hello, fellow ginger. (nope, not related)
and drinking lots of wine...
and more wine...
and yep, even more wine....
A very wonderful weekend indeed. Glad I had my blackberry around to snap a few pictures. Hope you enjoyed the visual recap!

laugh or buy?

Please meet the Baggy Winecoat. I think this is hilarious but I am also very intrigued. It would be perfect for a picnic. "Baggy Winecoat gives the popular Bag in Box wines a casual but stylish look!" Okay, after thinking for thirty-seconds longer, I have now decided this is ridiculous. I am not that much for a lush...

Tea Towel

You look like you can cook...

These photos by Sheri Giblin are making me hungry! Confession: I am a terrible cook. You want to make all these for me?! Thanks. Oh, even better. You know a cute boy in Portland who can cook. Wonderful.
Sounds perfect.
I can bring the wine! I am good at that.

Lush

My new recent love....2006 Primarius Pinot Noir! It is fabulous! Not only does it taste amazing but it holds a dear place in my heart because it comes from Oregon grapes AND is bottled in Washington. My two favorite states ever! haha. It is light in color and has amazing fruit flavors. I am no wine expert so read this article instead. Yum.

Vine

I am loving the branding done by Tank Studios for Vine Cafe, Bar, & Larder
I like the mix of images with the random bike in there.

Drink Up

This upcoming spring term will be my very last college term......ahhhh. Oh, crap. I figure since it is my last term, I might as well enjoy it to the fullest. So, I will be taking a class called Wine in the Western World. It is, "A study of wine throughout history, from its accidental discovery and refinement through today, with a focus on the profound role wine plays in agriculture, social rituals, human health, economics, and the ambivalent pursuit of pleasure." I am pretty excited about this. I hope it is as cool as it sounds!

What is your favorite bottle of wine?
