The second issue of Rue Magazine went live today. Of course, I have already browsed through it. There are some seriously, rock my world interiors. Below are my three favorite. I am sure there are plenty more when I flip through the magazine again.

It is starting to feel like the holidays. White flakes starting falling from the sky today. An excellent excuse to curl up by the fireplace (or maybe the heater in my case).

I am still around

I have running around the Pacific Northwest lately. My adorable grandma turned 85 this past week and my entire family flew in, drove up, or took the train into town. We had a weekend of celebration. A wonderful pre-thanksgiving get together.

This is the women we spent celebrating. Isn't she the cutest? And not to mention she has the greatest collection of vintage framed cross stitched pieces and cottage ware.

There were lots of camera's snapping pictures all weekend. Many that we were unaware of. My lovely boyfriend made the journey home with me and experience our loud family gatherings.

It is rather windy in Portland today. The idea of walking to work isn't the most appealing right now. I would rather curl up in this lovely bed and spend hours catching up on blogs.

Beautiful (and fairly large upholstered) headboard. Faux fur throw. Chair as a nightstand. Yes, please.

I am super excited about all the holiday wrapping paper that I bought yesterday. I love that it isn't all the traditional green and red colors. Elks, sweater, Santa gnomes, and plaid......very festive indeed. Through in some kraft paper and raffia and it is going to be lovely.

Holy S***

I am giddy currently!!!! I just scored the most amazing campaign dresser ever. I was searching craigslist for a dresser for my boyfriend's new place and came across this gem. I had to have it (would have kicked myself if I didn't get it)! And guess how much I got it for?! Drumroll please.....$40! Yep, you read that right. Amazing. Tell me about it. This piece is coming home with me on Saturday! Yippee.
