What to wear...

Somedays (okay, most days) I just never can decide on what to wear. It is a dilemma. Most days I always end up back in the very first outfit I tried on. Can someone explain to me why that always happens? Thanks. I love street style for inspiration. Thank goodness for blogs.

exhausted

I am heading to bed early tonight. I need to recover from a long family reunion weekend. We are a loud bunch. And there are always a million pictures by the end of the weekend. It is always a fantastic time though.

Axe and Chevrons

I love soccer. Now is a wonderful time to love the sport.....the World Cup and the new Portland Timbers MLS crest was just revealed. Portland is getting MLS (major league soccer) in 2011 and I couldn't be more excited.

Lonny Love

The summer issue of Lonny Magazine just came out. Of course, I have to share some of my favorite inspiration pictures with you all. Lonny Magazine is design porn. A visual feast for my eyes. Love it.

crusing

The weather in Portland has been teasing us. It was sunny this weekend but raining today. Go figure. Those moments of sun made me long for a fantastic retro bicycle like this beauty to cruise the streets. Isn't it perfect?!

Finally

I so glad True Blood is back on! The first episode was wonderful. Hello, Vampire Eric! What are you thoughts on the first episode?

Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man (Bookshop Sessions)

My newest song on repeat. I have the album version but the acoustic version kicks some serious ass.

Child's Play

I just adore this F. Schumacher Mariner's Map fabric. It is just adorable. Perfect for a child's room with some serious style. I love maps, animals, and fabric. Throw them all together and genius is born. I brought along some other wonderful fabrics that would go with the Mariner's Map. Then add some yellow paint, blue velvet fabric and lots of toys and you have a wonderful, cheerful, children's room. Enjoy.

(I LOVE small geometric repeats. Especially Greek key prints)

(this is a serious close up of the fabric but the fuzzy texture is so much fun!)

What do you think? Could you envision this in a child's room?

Shade my face

My pale skin could use this adorable visor to shade my face. Seriously, can we talk about its cuteness?

Baby Coco

My adorable little sister graduated high school yesterday! Yippee. Congrats Coco.
I made her graduation announcements which she didn't send out. ugh.

World Cup Fever

The first World Cup games started today. Fantastic. I LOVE soccer and the World Cup is always the best. It only happens every four years so you all better be watching. Tomorrow's game of USA vs. England is going to be out of control. oh, yippee. So exciting! GOOOOOAL.
Hello, hot soccer boys.

Landon Donovan. Do not fail me.

This is the most amazing Nike soccer commercial. Watch it.

RIP Freckles

My family's dog, Freckles, was put to sleep today. She was a fantastic dog who lived a long and happy fifteen years. She will be missed. Wasn't she a cutie?!
(Photo was taken with a blackberry so sorry for the shitty quality).

PDX

I love Oregon.

It relativity stayed the same. It's fun to see the transition.

In Search of...

A pedestal table. Correction... a SMALL pedestal table. I still don't have a table for my dining chairs to go around. I need a pedestal table to fit in the tight space that is around 30" diameter. And I need to get it through my 26" doorway. Let me know if you know of any great tables!
