Hello readers! Yep, that's me below. I had my wonderful boyfriend take a photo of me for the Stella & Dot's Style on the Street contest. If only I could have run into Lisa Warninger from Urban Weeds to legitimately take my street style photo. This will do very well though. I entered the contest and am hoping to win $250 jewelry shopping spree and handbag with S&D! I think my chances are wonderful.

I fully believe that I have excellent taste in music. I also am always on the search for new music. Lucky for me there is a fantastic new group from Portland, Oregon that I've had the pleasure of seeing live multiple times. Yes, the band members might be some of my greatest friends but they are incredibly talented and deserve all the praise. I am not a photographer. I wish. I take pictures on my phone. Yeah, it's bad. My crappy real camera doesn't take pictures much better anyways. It is also really hard to photograph interiors. Or maybe it's just me. Probably just me. I decided to snap a few detail photos from my phone of our new place. Enjoy.

Maybe someone with photography skills will come to my house one day so you can fully enjoy its greatness. Or we can be friends and you can visit me.

Style on the Street

I am planning on entering this awesome contest. I think I have a chance to rock it and walk away with the grand prize. Optimistic thinking here! So I am about to find some of my favorite outfits and new jewel and go for a style test run. I always am a huge fun of fabulous daily fashion blogs. I got nominated to bring a few floral arrangements to a Stella & Dot event next week. I am happily accepted the offer and headed straight to Pinterest for some inspiration. Pinterest is my newest addiction and entertainment! But look at all the beautiful floral designs I found!

I really enjoy a loose, vibrant, wildflower look. I'm putting the flowers in an assortment of vases. It is going to look great against the beautiful jewelry. Jewelry and flowers together....now I just need some wine, chocolate and my boyfriend and that will be the most magical combination.

Do you have any guidance on floral arrangement for me?

Where's my invite?

This is my kind of party. Fun, stylish and sophisticated.

I spy confetti, striped and flamingo straws, chevrons, party dresses, fun nylons, fret design, pretty flowers, and balloons. Throw in some rock candy on sticks and I say this party is complete.

Look of the Moment

Some styles become trendy and I'm never too sure about them until I give them a whirl. One trend that I wasn't sure I could get on board with was the maxi look. Now I am a believer in anything maxi. I rocked my maxi dress today actually! I need to add a maxi skirt to my collection too! I am really digging the flowy skirt with the structured top. All about the juxtaposition. The pleated skirt kind of kick ass too. Off to my internet search for awesome maxi skirts!

What are your thought on maxi skirts? Do tell. Pretty please. With a cherry on top.
