It's time to celebrate

Yep, it's my birthday! Double the fun! Halloween and my birthday! Yippee!!!!!
Have a fabulous Halloween everybody! I am going to be Cruella Devil!

Joshua Radin Concert

My roommate and I went to the Joshua Radin concert last night. It was fabulous! He was so charming and easy on the eyes. He was really genuine and captivating. He also had this wonderful open, Jessica Staveley-Taylor, who he found in England a few weeks ago. She was amazing and incredibly adorable. And he played new songs which were more rock and less mellow like his others!

Richest dead celeb

Forbes listed the top earners of dead celebrities in 2009. Yves Saint Laurent was on the top of the list! A little surprising but he made $350 million from his estate sale at the beginning of the year. The money is being split and going to the Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent Foundation and a new reasearch group to fight AIDS. Go check out the rest of the article right here.

P.S. - I Made This

I am pretty sure Erica of P.S. - I made this is a genius. These faux porcelain pottery looks easy and are so clever. Love it. I am going to have to attempt it myself sometime.

get together already

I think Taylor Swift is so stinkin' adorable. And well, Taylor Lautner is pretty damn good looking (now, if he would already turn 18 so I don't feel like a creeper saying that). And I just really want the rumors to be true that they are really dating. I mean look how cute they are together while filming a scene for the upcoming movie, Valentine's Day (which stars almost everybody). You know you want them together too!
Oh yeah, Taylor Swift is singing on the track Half My Heart off of John Mayer's new album Battle Studies!

I want to adopt a kitty

I would be at the Humane Society right now (well, minus the being at work part) if our apartment didn't require a $300 desposit to have a cat. Look at how sweet and precious they all are! Go ahead, call me the crazy cat lady. whatever. I want a kitten.

I have returned.

Hopefully someone out there has missed me this past week. I am now back in Portland! I had a fantastic time in NYC, Philadelphia, and Boston! I never take pictures. I know, roll your eyes. So I don't have any pictures to show you. I do have John Mayer's 3x5 song to leave you with. The lyrics are appropriate. I will leave you with some highlights of my trip below.

3x5 - John Mayer

-Managed to leave my blackberry in a car in NYC. People have good hearts and I got it back!
-Went to TopShop in Soho! Love that store.
-Saw the off broadway show of Avenue Q.
-Went to Ellis Island and whole bunch of other tourist things.
-Went to Mood Fabrics.
-Visited my dearest friend, Michelle and her husband in their new house in Philadelphia.
-Froze in the chilly weather in Boston. But it never rained on us!
-Bought a fabulous art print while on Charles Street
-Went on the Duck Tour in Boston. It was actually rather fun!
-Ate delicious food everywhere we went.
okay, so we did a whole lot more but I won't bore you all to death. Basically, I had a fabulous time! Glad to be back in the lovely, warm fall weather of Portland!
