Royal Wedding Time

I am really starting to appreciate a more sleek and sophisticated interior (thank you to my current work position). This interior is really tugging at my heart strings. It is an interior where I wouldn't feel any stress. Very clean and simple and yet very polished and sophisticated. That sofa looks so inviting and comfy. Yeah, I can do this look.

French Bike
I found myself an awesome bike today. I am a true Portlander now (it only took me two years). I now have a vintage Peugeot Mixte bike. His name is Pierre and he is a stunning, vibrant blue! I have a stylish and functional ride now. And my lovely boyfriend is going to make sure he is running perfectly for me. Now I just need another sunny day in Portland.

Sunny fabric
I had some fun yesterday at work. I was in charge of pulling together different fabric color board options for our client's home in Arizona. We focused on indoor/outdoor fabric and kid friendly. Our client isn't afraid of color so I was able to really have fun with some fun loving color. Do you have a favorite fabric grouping? We used mainly Trina Turk for F. Schumacher, Place Textiles, Glant fabric, Holly Hunt and Perennials Outdoor Fabric.Black, Gray and Teal...

decisions
I have such a difficult decision. Luckily, the outcome will be fantastic no matter what I decide. Dave Matthews Band just officially announced they will be back again at the amazing Gorge this summer. But this year it is a caravan. This means Dispatch, John Butler Trio and many other great bands will be there this year for three days. I told myself last year that wasn't going to go to Dave again this summer. But now with this festival style concert I am not sure if I can resist. Yes, I already have already seen DMB 6 times (always wonderful). Or I could opt out of DMB this year and go for option two which are a set of 6 fabulous vintage chairs! They look like the Cesca Cane chair. I could spend my money on this great set of chairs that I have been dreaming about since I saw them in the consignment store. Now the dilemma....Dave Matthews Band Caravan concert tickets or Set of Vintage Cane Chairs. HELP!DMB Caravan.....

Less Pink
I am mentally preparing myself to remove some pink from my life. I need to start looking into more clean lines, modern and less frilly design. I am very excited about this new grown up and sophisticated look I'm trying to achieve. These two bedroom from Lonny Magazine are my jumping point for this new transition.

Maine
I am already so excited for the 4th of July this year! I am going to be celebrating it in Maine. I plan on being unapologetically nautical. Stripes, blues, red, knots, sailing, lobsters....all things east coast. Hopefully I can find a cute lobster accessory! oh, I can't wait. Let me know if you know of anything great for my nautical extravaganza. Sister, I will need to borrow your pair of Sperry.

Trad Home
I am loving the collaboration between Traditional Home and Lonny Magazine....Trad Home. I love the new traditional look. An eclectic mix of new and old. This home was my favorite from the premiere issue of the new digital magazine. It the from designers Jolene Ballard and Amanda Malson of Domicile Interior Design. I want my house to look like this! Have you looked at the newest digital magazine? Thoughts?!
