Montana Summer

Montana's summers are wonderful. I don't have to check the weather every morning to see if it's going to rain. It almost is a guaranteed warm, sunny day. There might be a afternoon thunderstorm but who doesn't love that? There's ample opportunities for recreational outing within a short distance all directions right from town. It's great except for the fact that I know have a long list of summer gear that would be fabulous to own. I tried rock climbing this weekend....want to do that and need some gear. This upcoming weekend, I'll be renting a stand up paddleboard to give it a whirl but it'd be pretty sweet to own a board to use after work during the week. And of course, I need some hiking gear. My tennis shoes just don't cutting it for long hikes. Oh, what to get first....

Adoptable

Searching for adoptable dogs online is a fabulous past-time. I love fluffy, little guys who need a home. I want to take so many home with me. If only my cat liked dogs as much as I do. One day she will have to accept them though. Check out these cute guys that need home.Yes, please.

This is Rex and he's a Terrier/Wire Fox Terrier Mix. Look at his face?!

This is Jazz and he's an English Setter. I have a love for these type of dogs since I grew up with two English Setters. I was looking for some adoptable Portuguese Water Dogs but the selection was slim pickings. Another day.....What kind of dog do you have or want to have? Did you adopt a dog?

The Newsroom

I'm back with another tv show recommendation. Basically, anything on HBO tends to be phenomenal and The Newsroom is no exception. My friend told me I had to watch it and I'm sure glad she did. Seriously, there's only been about 5 episodes so you're not too far behind. Start watching The Newsroom. It's fantastic.

Powder Bath

In my opinion, great design has character with a touch of modern. I'm pretty sure this powder bathroom checks all those boxes. I'm in love with every item in this powder bathroom. Maybe one day, I'll be able to have a powder bathroom just like this. What are your thoughts on this bathroom? Would you like it to be in your home? What are your favorite items?

Summer Heat

It's officially hot in Bozeman. I wish we lived on a lake. I'd be in the water everyday if that was the case. But I can't complain since there are lakes and rivers near by. And not to mention every other form of recreational possible. Yesterday, Joel and I went on a 12.41 mile hike with a 3,000 ft altitude change. Today, I'm taking it easy, relaxing and listening to music. Speaking of music....I'm always on the look out for new tunes. Any suggestions?! Right now I'm listening to Zac Brown Band, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, ZZ Ward, and Citizen Cope. So what else should I be listening too? Enjoy the summer sun.

Euro Trip - Friday's Fancies

AV from Long Distance Loving is off on an adventure in Europe and we are joining her trip this week. Friday's Fancies is all about exploring Europe. Summer time is wedding season time. It's time to prepare yourself for wedding attire. I've envisioned an outfit for an evening, cocktail wedding. East Coast Dreaming

We arrived back to Montana yesterday after a long day traveling back from Maine. I can't believe how fast our vacation went by. I wish we could have stayed a little longer but it was still a fabulous trip. Maine is such a fantastic place and staying with joel's family is always enjoyable. I can't wait for our net trip back there! Here a few pictures that I captured while on the east coast. Enjoy!

We went sailing for the 4th of July. The weather was pleasant right up until we docked the boat to get find some dinner.

Beach Chic - Friday's Fancies

In honor of our trip to Maine next week, I've decided on this adorable sailboat swimsuit for my "Beach Chic" look for this Friday's Fancies. I'm excited that it's finally summer and it's warm enough to even wear a swimsuit. I'll take mine to the lake or river in Montana though. Wedding

Joel and I had the pleasure of attending our good friend's wedding back in Portland this past weekend. It was so much fun to head back to Portland to see all of our good friends and of course to dance the day away. I've also just been asked to be a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding next summer. Color Block - Friday's Fancies

Hooray for Friday. I'm especially excited for the weekend since we're headed back to Portland. So goodbye, mountains and sun and hello, rain. PDX

Joel and I are headed back to Portland this weekend for my good friend's wedding. I can't wait to see everyone, eat delicious food, get some shopping in, and watch the Timbers beat the Sounders. I'm also pretty pumped to give me friends their wedding gift. I purchased this fabulous custom print from Almost Sunday on Etsy. I was able to match their wedding colors perfectly and get it to MT in plenty of time before the wedding. Isn't it great? Check out all of the awesome prints on Almost Sunday.

Sunday Tradition

I've started a new Sunday tradition of delicious breakfast. I've made some awesome scrambles and yummy french toast. Do you have any good breakfast ideas because I'm looking for ideas. Gosh, now I'm hungry for some french toast. hum, breakfast for dinner tomorrow?
